Description
The eBay purchase location was stated as being in New Mexico, yet when I had to return the item I was requested to send the defective item to a foreign address: CDL London Ltd, t/a IMS Fulfillment & Distribution, Unit 1C Gatwick Gate, Lowfield Heath, Crawley, RH11 0TG, Great Britain. This was a total surprise as it originally came from New Mexico. This cost $11 some which was more than domestic shipping would cost and unexpected plus I had to complete a customs declaration. On eBay it says: "This item will be shipped directly from New Mexico Warehouse, USA;" which leads one to believe it is a domestic operation.
Later when I received the replacement camera/monitor I found it had the same problem. This time I did a test and I determined that the problem was with the camera as the monitor would work with an other camera. I requested to return the camera, but this time the camera only. I would only get a $15 credit, also the seller asked for a $20 handling charge, plus I would be out the international shipping for the second time. The cameras being sold appear to be incompatible with the monitors so it is not correct that I had to stand all these expenses. I went out and bought a camera from Best Buy and now everything works well. That camera cost $75.
This something for everyone to be aware of.
